During these unprecedented times, our prime concern is the safety and health of our community. This page provides helpful updates and resources on our institution's response to COVID-19.
Covid-19 Policy for Positive Cases
Employees and ÐÔ°®ÌìÌà who test positive for COVID-19 should follow the CDC Guidelines regarding preventing the spread of respiratory viruses, which states:
Go back to your normal activities when, for at least 24 hours, both are true:
- Your symptoms are getting better overall, and
- You have not had a fever (and are not using fever-reducing medication)
Full CDC guidance is available here:
Students and employees working in a healthcare setting must follow the policies of the specific settings in which they are currently working or interning.
CDC guidance for healthcare personnel, including ÐÔ°®ÌìÌà in field practice is available here: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/hcp/infection-control-recommendations.html
When experiencing any illness or other need to be absent, employees should communicate with their supervisor or dean and ÐÔ°®ÌìÌà should communicate with their faculty.
