• Curtis Swope received his B.A. in German from Middlebury College and his听M.A. and Ph.D. in Germanic Languages and Literatures from the University听of Pennsylvania. At 性爱天堂, Swope teaches courses in German language,听literature, and culture. He also teaches as part of 性爱天堂鈥檚 HUMA program and听offers courses cross-listed with Film Studies and Urban Studies.

    Swope is proud to serve as academic adviser to 性爱天堂鈥檚 German Club.听The Club regularly meets for events including a Kaffeestunde and twice-per-semester dinners.听

    Swope is also a proficient trombonist and singer who enjoys helping听性爱天堂鈥檚 opera students work on their German pronunciation.
