Requesting Up-to-Date Information from Students in TigerPAWS
Faculty and academic advisers to please underscore this request for emergency contacts and local addresses

Until the Student Information System (SIS) is up and running in Workday, we continue to request that students keep their information up to date in TigerPAWS. Ensuring information is up to date and accurate is a priority for us.

This week, all students received guidance from the Office of the Dean of Students regarding adding or updating emergency contact information, as well as adding a local address for non-residential students. Faculty and academic advisers are also being asked to help underscore this request during advising meetings.

What we need from students:

  1. An emergency contact on file (a parent or guardian, a family member, or anyone else who is able to support the student in the event of an emergency). International students will have already received guidance from International Student and Scholar Services about both an emergency contact at home and stateside.

  2. A local address for non-residential students (this is the address where they currently reside in San Antonio). Students will have already received guidance that this does not apply to the following populations: students currently studying abroad, senior accounting majors engaged in their internship, and HCAD graduate students engaged in their internship.

Should you have any questions or receive questions from students, please direct them to Jamie Thompson, Ed.D., interim associate vice president for Student Affairs and Dean of Students.
